How to Generated More Traffic to your Blogger Blog

How to Generated More Traffic to your Blogger Blog

How to Generated More Traffic to your Blogger Blog

1.Format Blogger post URL link:
Permalink plays a great role in search engine ranking of your post. There are few rules which everybody should follow for Blogspot permalinks:
Go to Blogger edit HTML > find out code section

<data:blog.pagetitle/>

and replace it with

<b:if cond= 'data:blog.pageType == "index"'>

<data:blog.title/>

<b:else/>

<data:blog.pageName/>

</b:if>

Now the individual pages will have post title itself .

2.optimizate your image on BlogSpot by adding alt tag and title tags in every image

3.Provide good title ,description and footer text

Title ,footer and description plays an important role on search engine optimization of every blog . If you are targeting some keywords make sure that you included those keywords in the above mentioned locations .

4.You should provide Meta Description in every post you publish. Meta Descriptions are 2-3 lines description of your blog. It is good for Search Engine Optimization because it helps search engine to understand your blog in 2-3 lines. In the new Interface of Google Blogger it very easy to add a custom description. While you are publishing a new post you can simply add 2-3 lines in the description box on the right sidebar.

5.Labels
Labels are same as the keyword or not. It is very controversial. But no doubt it is very important for Search Engine Optimization. You should use proper, descriptive and unique labels for your blog. A blog should have at least 3 to 5 unique labels

6.Keyword density is a important aspect for better ranking. Too less will lead to less ranking and stuffing your Keyword will lead to over optimization. I usually maintain a ratio of 2%/post. Though, you can pick keyword density for your Blog post SEO, account to one which works for you. Publish articles in relevance to post title and include necessary keywords in the post . Never stuff keywords to manipulate search engines . But after finish you can analyze the whole post to find out suitable locations where the keywords can be safely inserted without distracting readers .

7.Make all the external links open in new tab
This will reduce your bounce rate, increase the no. of page views on your blog and your blog traffic will not be transferred just because of one single link.

8. Make all the external links nofollow
By default all links are dofollow that means Google can crawl them and hence much of the PageRank juice of the page goes away. So in order to prevent them one should add nofollow tag to all external links.

9.Go to Blog Title → Template → Edit HTML and add the below code just above the tag

Once you have added the code save your template. You are done now. Now you can see alt tags in your images, Nofollow tag in External links and Opening of external links in new tab.

10. Give Meta Tags or meta keywords and Description :

Sign In to your Blogger Account
Take Design tab in your blog

dashboard
    Select Edit HTML
    Add the following code inside

section

    <b:if cond='data:blog.url ==

data:blog.homepageUrl'>

    <meta content='Place your blog's

keywords here(seperated by commas)'
    NAME='keywords'/>
    </b:if>

Replace the Red text by your blog's description and keywords and place

it inside
section. Now your blogger blog meta tags are

placed. The Blogger description you placed in meta tag description will

display as the description of your blog in Google search results

11.Change all H3 tags with H1 tag

Go to Blogger Account
    Select Template -> Edit HTML

         simply find <H3
Change all < h3>
open and closed tags and replace them with

click save template.

Generate Web Traffic through FaceBook

Facebook is an interactive stage with millions of potential customers, targetable by common interests or home country or even date of birth. The average user mentality is receptive to new ideas and online content, and is willing to share a wealth of personal information.

There are many ways of promoting your website using various social networking promotion techniques. It helps if you already have a facebook account with lots of friends who are likely to join your group if they get a personalize invite from you. However, you don’t actually need ANY friends, because you can invite your entire email address book, or to selected email addresses. We will explain all this within the post.

Create a Facebook Group

Choose a relevant group title, and add a brief but detailed description of what your website is all about. There is a “Recent News” box in the group setup. You should use this wisely as people like to be kept up to date on important issues / news to do with a product, service, or website that interests them. Make sure you keep this updated with all events and news to do with your site. Do not waste your time updating it with irrelevant information however; you are better off updating it less regularly than you should, whilst maintaining a quality news update which people will actually appreciate.

Upload a relevant image for your group. This may be your logo or advertisement banner which hopefully you will already have at your fingertips. Now, when it comes to inviting people you have two options or you can do both, of course. You can manually select all of your existing Facebook friends, which may take you up to 5 minutes depending on how many friends you have, but it is definitely worth it. It is highly recommended that you choose to add a “Personal Message” to invite your friends and relatives. This ensures that your friends are invited properly, not just with a standard invite notice; it raises the chances of people accepting your invite.

Your second option is to invite via email. Here you have two separate choices. You can either import your contacts or send the invite to everyone in your email address book, or you can manually add emails to a list. This is up to you, but the manual method will take a lot longer and will be somewhat tedious. You should now be ready to publish your group and post an automated update message to your profile, so don’t skip this process!

Now you can check your member list grows.

2) Using the Facebook Like button

To promote your business web site is both simple and effective. The Facebook Like button is set of code that can be inserted onto almost any web site. The code generates a button that lets those who visit your site quickly and easily share your site’s content with their Facebook friends. As soon as one of your web site’s visitors clicks the Facebook Like button a story is published on their friends’ News Feed with a pretty little link that directs them back to your web site. This is a great user driven web site promotion tool. They will only click on it if they find it interesting enough to share with their “Like” minded friends.

3) Make a Facebook Page

Facebook page is an excellent strategy to promote your online business. With page application you can create a dedicated page for your website and fill it with tons of added sections. People can subscribe and become fan of your facebook page, and can take part in polls, discussions, forum posting, photo uploading and tagging and much more.

4) Events

Simply put, Facebook Events can help you connect with your target audience and invite them for your events, even if they aren’t on your friend list or one of your fans. Events can be created individually or even from Profiles, Pages. The Facebook gives you a choice between making the event Public and Private.

5) Fan Pages

You can make pages for your business or website on facebook and then promote those pages among your friends and fans. This is also a default feature that is provided by facebook. You can have fans for your pages. Businesses and websites can show their information and work profile and share latest news and company’s latest updates with the fans.

6) Facebook Connect

With this app you will increase traffic, increase registrations and increase activity to your website. You can gain access to User’s Identity: a user’s name, photos, Friends, Distribution: all of the integration points within Facebook, like stream stories and notifications, Integration: profile boxes, profile tabs, and publishers just like apps on Facebook.

7) Write Interactive and Useful Post

Update your Facebook page with interactive and useful post as frequently as you can. This will create an opportunity for them to respond to the post with their thoughts and comments.

Google Adsense Referral Income

Google Adsense Referral Income

Google Adsense Referral ads, Google Adsense Referral button, Google Adsense Referral Income, Google Adsense Referral program

Google Adsense Referral Income

Google Adsense Referral Program Can Earn You More Than Google Adsense Compensation

Last week I was reading the terms and conditions of Google adsense program. While adsense is a great way to monetize your website/ blog and to earn from target traffic ,what we tend to neglect is Google Adsense Referral program. It is perhaps because many of us are not aware of the compensations google offers for the referrals. Unlike google adsense , Google encourages us to draw attention of our traffic creatively to our Google adsense referral button.

We can place Google adsense referral button or banner on our site and when a publisher signs up for Google AdSense through our referral button or banner, our account gets credited. When this publisher earns $5.00 within 180 days of the sign-up date, our adsense account is credited with $5.00. When the same publisher earns $100 within 180 days of the signup date and is eligible for payout, our account is credited with an additional $250.In other words you earn $250 when your referral to google adsense program earns his first $100.

These compensations are not lucrative enough, but here is what got me thinking. If, in any 180 day period, you refer 25 publishers with each one earning $100 and qualifying for adsense payout, you will be awarded a $2,000 bonus. This means every time you refer 25 publishers within a period of 180 days ,you will earn $2000 when they reach their minimum payout amount of $100 and there is no limit to the number of times you could earn that.

If you have good traffic visiting your website/blog ,then this might just provide you the impetus to look closely at the referral ADS so the traffic to your site can make you more money. There are many adsense formats and colors for referral buttons to choose from on the Referrals page within your AdSense account.

Other Google Referral Products

There are several google products other than adsense that you can refer and earn from ,but the compensation for those isn’t as rewarding as the adsense referral program. And the earnings from the referrals vary depending on the product you're referring and their conversion ; Not just the signup.

For:

Firefox and Google Toolbar : You will receive up to $1 in your adsense account when a user downloads the Firefox plus Google Toolbar from your referral button and runs Firefox for the first time .It pays up to $1 based on the location of the user who downloads the Firefox and Google toolbar.

AdWords: Adwords is a service provided by Google for advertising on their search engine network where you can select your daily budget and the amount you would like to pay per click your ad receives. You can manage your campaigns and check the number of clicks in realtime in your Adwords account. For every Adwords Advertiser you refer, your account gets credited $5 when the advertiser spends his first $5 within 90 days of the signup date

You will be credited with another $40 when that same advertiser spends $100 within 90 days of the signup date.

If in any 180 day period you can refer 20 advertisers each of whom spend more than $100 within 90 days of their respective sign-up dates, you will be credited another $600 as bonus. This bonus is limited to 1 per calendar year.

Pack: Google pack is a collection of essential softwares. When a Windows user you've referred to ‘Pack’ downloads and installs the product, you'll receive up to US$2 in your adsense account depending on the geographic location of the user downloading the Pack.

Checkout: Google Checkout is a service offered by google for buyers to shop online. When a user signs up as a buyer and completes a transaction through Google Checkout of at least $10 within 90 days of the signup date, your account will be credited with $1.

Google Apps: Apps provides it’s user a powerful communication and collaboration tool. When a user signs up for Google Apps and there are one or more Google Apps email accounts in use for four consecutive weeks, you will be credited with $5.

.

Tracking Referrals
It’s important to remember that unlike google adsense ,you are paid by the referral programs for conversion and not clicks. You can track the performance of your referrals from your adsense account..Once you login into your adsense account visit the Reports Overview page or the Advanced Reports page and select ‘referrals’ in the dropdown box. There you can check the clicks, signups, conversions and earnings separately for each referral product or service you use.

Short term and long term perspectives

While all the referral options Google adsense provides are good revenue generators ,having profited from it myself, I find the adsense referral button the most profitable. If you get enough traffic to your website or blog and use the adsense referral button creatively then the income from your adsense referral might beat your adsense income ,atleast in the short run.As your traffic and community expands , your earning graph from adsense ads will steadily climb above the income from adsense referral.

Google adsense is now allowing third party vendors to place display ads on publisher sites.

Getting traffic from blog commenting

Getting traffic from blog commenting:

blog commenting importance, blog commenting in seo, blog commenting role, Getting traffic from blog commenting

blog commenting

I have seen many bloggers who don't target SEO, they just comment valuable comments on other blogs and they get good traffic for their blogs.

I think it is good technique in competitive market as SEO is very competitive so you can use here any competitive keyword and get good traffic from blog commenting but you have to do quality work otherwise, it may not give much benefit.

you just need to give a comment to such related niche with your blog, by giving awesome comment with good facts and info, people will excited to know who you are, and they will click your anchor text

don't bother commenting on big blogs, your comment will just get lost in the crowd, and also most big blogs wont let you link anyway.

so keep with the semi-popular blogs, it will help in the long run.
To be able to drive traffic via blog commenting, you need to say something that will spark the interest of everyone else, making you stand out from the crowd. However, what good is a good comment in a sea of 300 other comments? Chances are it will take you forever to get noticed - if your comment gets published, that is. A good way to do blog commenting is to choose blogs that have 10-20 comments and build rapport with the writer and with the other commenters.

A more detailed method would be to setup alerts in Google related to your niche, then, as soon as you get an alert, be sure to post a relevant reply. This way you will get a lot of UV from the first hour itself.

--------------------------

Check : http://wordpress.org/support/topic/website-repeatedly-hacked

--------------------

Step 1 – Login to your WordPress dashboard as an administrator and go to Appearance -> Widgets. In my case, the two widgets I was using had been moved to the Inactive Widget box and replaced with a Text Widget in the sidebar.

Step 2 – Open the Text widget and click the Delete link on the bottom left. Once you’ve deleted it, reset your widgets to the way they were prior to the hack.

Step 3 – Next go to settings -> Reading. Change your character encoding back to UTF-8. This will fix any lingering issues with your RSS feed and IE.

Step 4 – Lastly, reset the Site Title & Tagline for your site. The location for this will vary based on your theme. For my site, I selected Appearance -> Themes and then clicked the Customize link for my theme.

That will fix your site immediately. Clear out your cache and confirm that everything works.

Now that your site is up and running, you will need to make it more secure so that this problem does not happen again.

Step 1 – Change your passwords for your hosting service, WordPress, etc.

Step 2 – Upgrade to the latest version of WordPress.

Step 3 – If you have a backup of your site, do a restore to a version prior to the attack just for good measure.

Step 4 – Login to your WordPress dashboard and install the plugin Better WP Security and resolve issues 1-19 on the dashboard. For item 20, you will need to enable/purchase SSL from your hosting provider. NOTE – some of the changes the plugin makes will break links or images on your website. You will need to go back and update all of them, but that is a small price to pay for having your site more secure. The easiest way to fix all of the links at once is to download an export of your blog’s content (Tools -> Export), open it in Notepad and do a find and replace.

Step 5 – Move your wp-config.php up one level.

Step 6 – Change your database password and make a note of it. How to do this will vary by host.

Step 7 – Go to your wp-config.php and open it in your favorite code editor. Update your database password to your newly updated password. Then go to the Secret Keys section and follow the instructions to update your keys.

-----------------------

It add a "widget_text" under the wp_options table.

is also in the wp_options table under "blogname".

The hack changes your character encoding from UTF-8 to UTF-7. You can fix this through the WordPress Admin Dashboard/Panel by going to Settings -> Reading and setting it back to UTF-8.

SEO Content - The Foundation of your Internet marketing

SEO Content – The Foundation of your Internet marketing

SEO Content

Site design, site structure, links and content determine your traffic, but your content determines whether people stay long enough to respond to your call to action. SEO success without conversion success is largely a waste of time and effort.

Conversion is the action target for the page or post. The action target is what you want people to do. In real estate, a phone call is the desired action. To lead to that action, the phone number must be prominently displayed. Often, mentioning it again at the end of the page or post will reinforce the desired action. Asking open ended questions in the content can lead to the reader picking up the phone and making the call.

Other forms are conversion are capturing an email address through a form, registration for the use of site services, visits to a store or restaurant.

The point of the content is to inform the visitor, but also to lead them to your desired action.

1.Deciding if internet marketing is worth it for my business

2.Getting started

3.Staying with it until it pays off

Deciding if Small Business SEO is Worth It

Let’s go back to the beginning of this article. How many potential customers are walking by your door because they never see you? It’s pretty simple but powerful question. If some percentage of customers in a business come from online searchers and your business is not where they search, they will never see you.

Budgets are critical for most small business owners and if you don’t have the money, you need to determine if you have the time to learn and do the work necessary for building a web site and ranking in the search engines. If you don’t have the time or the money you’re not going to make a dent in a competitive market.

But, let’s assume you have the resources necessary and you are sure of the need for small business SEO and a search engine presence. Now what do you do?

Getting Started With Small Business and Local SEO

What do you need to get started with SEO?

Whether you do the work or someone else do the work, to get started you need to get the technical aspect of site design and SEO right:

  • Site Structure

  • Site Design

  • Hosting

  • Content Management and Content Management Platform

  • Market Research

  • Competitive Research

  • Keyword Research

  • On Page SEO

  • Link Plans

Practical SEO – The Real Work

Once the technical aspects of SEO are complete, the work begins and the work is all about content. Content offers three challenges:

Creating Content

Creating Lots and Lots of Content

Staying With Content Creation

The quality of your content must be better than the competition. It’s that simple. Do whatever it takes to make your content the best in your industry. Then the content must be written for both customers (first) and SEO (second). Don’t be fooled into believing that only SEO content matters. It’s always customers first.

Internet Marketing and small business SEO are competitive and becoming more competitive by the moment. If there’s a market, then there is or will be competition for search engine rankings. It takes work, it takes resources, it takes skill and knowledge. If anyone is telling you it’s easy, they’re wrong. Easy rankings generally mean that there’s no competition or no market.

What is the purpose of your site?

What is the purpose of your site?

purpose of your web site

Different sites have different purposes, but unless you clearly and specifically articulate that purpose, much of your website and SEO efforts will be wasted. You may hear the question asked, how well does your site convert?

Conversion is basically getting visitors to take the action you have defined. It can be lead generation, product sales, customer service support, information for clients, list building and more.

The foundation of SEO is targeting traffic. That’s what keyword selection, competitive analysis, link building and site design lead you to in the end. Targeted Traffic is targeting the buyers, subscribers or other customer most likely to buy your offerings.

It’s extremely rare that an outside party will know enough about your business to design a great website and bring the most targeted traffic without your guidance. You must demand that your website brings you more of what makes your business successful.

How Build Trust in your Website Visitors

Here are simple actions you can take to build trust in your website visitors.

1. Your website design is the first impression. Make sure it is professional and relevant to the subject matter.

2. Navigation must be intuitive. If visitors can’t find what they are looking for easily, they will question your competence in providing what they want.

3. Make the website personal by giving it its own tone and voice.

People buy people.

4. Follow the HEART rule of creating online content. (Reminder: HEART stands for Honest, Exclusive, Accurate, Relevant and Timely.)

5. Use language that is appropriate to the audience. It will build empathy.

6. Regularly add new content to your site. It shows that the business is alive and kicking.

7. Review all links. Doubts will quickly form in your visitors’ minds if links don’t work or, worse still, take them to error pages.

8. Good grammar and spelling matter. Errors give the impression of sloppiness and carelessness.

9. Don’t make outrageous and unbelievable claims, like “Read this blog and you’ll be a millionaire by the end of the week.” People are used to scams, get-rich-quick schemes and rip-offs.

10. Publish REAL testimonials and third-party endorsements. Try to always use real names and link to websites where possible. Some sites show images of letters sent by happy customers.

11. Publish case studies about customers you have helped, who use your product, etc.

12. Don’t put down, curse or insult competitors. It’s unprofessional.

It is better to offer an objective comparison of competitive services or products.

13. Focus on building your long-term reputation, not on making quick sales.

14. Write articles for humans, not search engines.

15. Make your ‘About Us’ page personal and comprehensive. It plays an important part in making visitors feel comfortable that real people are behind the site.

16. Publish your photo or the photos of the key people involved with the site. Again, this reinforces the fact that there are real people behind the screenshots.

17. Clearly identify who is behind the site. Nothing creates more suspicion than a site that tries to hide the identity of its publishers.

18. on the ‘Contact Us’ page, provide an email form, telephone number, fax and address of the company. it is a legal requirement for sites taking funds, but even sites driven by advertising will benefit from

openness.

19. Provide a telephone number that people can call and talk to a person.

20. Provide Web addresses linked to the website domain, not addresses from free webmail services such as Hotmail and Gmail.

21. Think carefully about reciprocal links. If your site is about

organic food and you have links to Party Poker, people are going to question your integrity.

22. Think carefully about the adverts you display on your site.Ensure that they are relevant to your subject and audience.

23. Write and publish your privacy policy. Be clear about what you will and will not do with any personal data you collect. State that you adhere to all data protection laws. Make it easy to read and don’tuse legal gobbledygook.

24. Write and publish a security policy. State what measures you take to ensure that all transactions are secure as well as how well you handle customers data.

25. Ensure that you have a security and privacy policy which is linked from the footer on every page. Make the link more prominent on all the order pages.

26. Clearly publish your guarantee. I would recommend making it a 100% money-back guarantee if possible.

27. Clearly state your refund and returns policy.

28. If you use PayPal, put the PayPal logo on your site. If you have a merchant services account with a major bank like Citibank or HSBC,put its logo on your site.

29. Use Google search on your site for two reasons. First, it is a great search solution which will help your visitors find what they are looking for. Second, having the Google name on your site instills trust.

30 If there are well-known industry associations for your subject, join up and put their logos on your site.

31. Have a forum on your site and respond quickly to questions. Have the attitude that you are happy to help others without receiving immediate reward. As the old saying goes, ‘Givers always gain.’

32. Allow people to comment on articles. Interactivity and an exchange of views build community and a sense of involvement.

33. If people provide constructive criticism or comments in the forum, don’t delete them, but respond with your point of view.

34. Use the words ‘secure website’ whenever you try to get any information from visitors, including newsletter sign-ups, forum input and payment.

35. on every page, state, “We take your privacy and security very seriously.” Link the statement to the security and privacy policy.

36. If you are selling a subscription, offer a low-cost, entry-level option. This could be a one-day taster, ‘a week before billing starts’ or a monthly trial.

37. only ask for information from customers that you really need. For example, for an email newsletter sign-up, the only information you REALLY need is an email address, so that is all you should ask for.

38. If you have pricing on your website, make it transparent. I recently went to buy a book which was advertised for $10. When I checked out, they added tax, post and packaging, and the final bill was $19.50. I didn’t buy it as I felt they had deliberately tried to mislead me.

39. Start a small newsletter of your company/services & circulate it among your clients/employees. Also, publish it on your website regularly.

40. Allow people to “unsubscribe” from your mailing list. This may sound very obvious, but I have found that many websites still don’t follow it.

Income through Affiliate Marketing

Income through Affiliate Marketing

Income through Affiliate Marketing

The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as ‘retailer’ or ‘brand’), the network (that contains offers for the affiliate to choose from and also takes care of the payments), the publisher (also known as ‘the affiliate’), and the customer. A business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts.

Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other company’s products.

You find a product you like, promote it to others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

You’re happy because you earned a commission…

The company is happy because they have a new sale from a customer that they might not have normally been able to reach…

And the customer is happy because they learned about a product from you that will hopefully fulfill a need or desire.

The beauty of affiliate marketing is that you don’t have to invest the time and effort to create a product to sell. You can begin selling something as an affiliate as soon as you have a platform to sell it on.

Content Focus

I. Determining Content Focus

Content needs to have a focus in terms of the topics you plan to cover and the tone it will take. Here are some pointers for determining that focus.

Stimulate engagement. It could be educational, entertaining, inspirational, or promotional. Likely it should contain elements of all four.

Demonstrate knowledge and thought leadership. One way to garner trust is by establishing yourself or your company as an expert.

Consistent with the mission and culture of your business. You don’t want content that is out of step with your company’s character, image, and personality — it would come across as not authentic.

A commonly accepted practice is to use the 70/20/10 rule.

70 percent of content should focus on your customers’ interests and needs. This can be accomplished through how-to tips, answers to frequently asked questions, and links to helpful resources. Ask yourself, “Would I find this content helpful?” If the answer is yes, then it’s probable others will too.

20 percent of content should be “OPC” — other people’s content. That mandates a willingness to allow user-generated content on social channels you manage, such as a Facebook page. This gives your customers a sense of ownership in the conversation and serves to foster trust.

10 percent of content should be promotional. If you are willing to focus 90 percent of your content on others, then, hopefully, no one will complain when 1/10th of it calls attention to your products and services.

II. Determining Content Type

Depending on the channel, social media content can take many forms: blog posts, tweets, status updates, contests, quizzes, poll questions, infographics, videos, and photos.

Due Pinterest and Instagram, social media has become increasingly visual. So the use of video and photo images should be a major consideration. Not only does it appeal to different learning styles, but photos and video make it easier for customers and prospects to get a feel for who you are and what you do.

III. Determining Posting Frequency

After you have decided on the content’s focus and type, determine how often you can post updates. Here are a couple of tips.

Post at the optimal time. By this I mean post on the days and times when you are most likely to receive responses in the form of Likes, comments and shares. Many retailers find that posting between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. works best. Edge Rank Checker is a
